Overview
From the dawn of the Internet age, there has always been a policy of open standards and open minds. It goes without saying that the strong beliefs of those involved in the Internet’s early days have helped shape the entire industry. “Open source” is a concept born out of these beliefs; we would like to redefine the concept of “open source” during this discussion between some of these pioneers and current students.
This session features students - “digital natives” - who have grown up immersed in technology. We’ll give them the floor and let them ask candid questions to these established IT industry leaders. In doing so we want to examine the future of open source and what it means in business settings.
